Hello everybodyyyy!
Oh well, how to start today's post?
So... many people have been asking me to give them an advice. Most of the questions were about high school, blogging and so on. Today I'll stick to the high school part.
Many of you are about to become freshmen and you are quite scared, because you don't know what to expect.
Starting a high school is definitely something you have never experienced, it is always something new. There are plenty of things that are different from your old school. You will experience many changes, but no worries, you'll get used to it.
You'll be able to get to know new people and new teachers. These people will be a lot different than your old friends from your old school. When it comes to teachers, they will have a lot more expectations. Feel free to communicate with them on your first day, it will help them to remember you a lot more easily. Make sure to leave a good first impression.
Your high school years should be the greatest time in your life (so far). You'll be facing some big changes, but they are nothing you can't handle! It might seem hard at first, but don't try to run away from it. Face it!
In case you are feeling pressure to do something you feel is wrong, make sure to talk to someone! A friend, parent or even your favorite teacher - not talking to someone is not good at all!
When it comes to bullying, do the same thing. Try not to look as an easy target. Be confident, don't let anyone to bring you down. These cases are quite challenging, but everything will be fixed eventually, trust me.
It is normal if you feel alone during your first days. That's why you should be communicative. It might happen, that a lot of your future classmates will already know each other... this is quite nerve wracking. When it comes to introducing yourself, try to be brave and funny. Don't get scared, it's not worth it at all.
If there are some class activities, make sure to join! The sooner you make some new friends, the better. You won't feel alone anymore.
This next thing might sound quite stupid, but take lots of pictures during the high school! Funny high school moments should be captured.
I was always angry when one of my school mates used to take pictures of everything and everyone. But when we had our Prom and there was this short movie full of random pics, it was so emotional to look back! I almost cried.
We were kids when we started high school and now, we're almost 19, some of us almost 20 and we're heading to universities.
Everything feels like it happened yesterday. But it's been 4 years!
My first finals are over, I cannot believe it. We made it together. Although we didn't like ourselves during our first year, everything is different today.
After our Prom we realised that this is our last year together, we try to help each other as much as we can, we grew up, we make our own decisions and overall - we're just enjoying our remaining days of high school...
Last but not least - a selfie from this morning, I was super excited for the finals to be overrrr!
Oh and yes, and got some roses today, as a little "goodbye finals" gift.
