Blogging - Make it wort it ...

Hello angels!
I'm finally here after a looong week - answering the most frequently asked question, I guess, which is - how to make your blog worth it!

Please note, that I'm not an expert when it comes to blogging. I just write about the things I like or (like now) I'm trying my best to help you.

The whole blogging thing isn't as easy as it seems. Fashion/beauty/lifestyle blogs are super popular nowadays. Many girls decide to create a blog and they also want many viewers at once. This is not how it works.
Of course, you can make people to visit your blog throught self-promotion. That is totally okay. But isn't it nicer when people find your blog all by themselves and decide to follow you because they actually like your blog?

When it comes to blogs in general, the competition is endless. But keep calm, because many of these blogs actually suck. Mostly because of the pointless articles or low quality photos...

This leaves you an opportunity to create something amazing and special! The most important thing is being different! People like different!
Also, make sure to come up with a good blog name. This is also a way how to get people to visit your blog.
Once your blog is all set up, publish your first article. It doesn't have to be a "Hi, I'm Katie - 23 y.o. girl, and this blog will be about ..." kind of post. People will eventually find out more things about you.
Don't just publish a lame crappie material that you type out in ten minutes because you need to do something else. If you're busy, don't publish anything - take your time with this!
To be honest, sometimes it takes me even two days to finish a blog post! Usually it's a few hours.
Make your brain work pretty damn hard.

And again - being different is like being alive - sounds kinda dramatic, but it's true. If your blog is the same as all the other blogs,  you'll get lost in all that noise and stay unnoticed. And you don't want that.
Having a blog is like having your own clothing line or brand - you want your line to stand out!

You might think that people hate long blog posts. Well, you're wrong - they love reading them! Especially when they are straight to the point!

The best content is something that can change people's opinion/life. Again - sounds super dramatic, I know, but let's think about it (although this will be kinda crazy, haha) - after reading this blog post you might think about how your blog isn't really eye-catching or different from all the other blogs, so you decide to make it a little bit more interesting.
I personally love reading those kinds of blog posts that have something new to tell (especially when we're talking about the posts that can help me, or other people).

Also - get professional! Save up some money and get good camera for your photos! It doesn't have to be a DSLR camera! Even these small, handy cameras can take high quality photos! Try to edit your photos, as well. Take will look much better.
These things can make a huge difference to how you are perceived.

Tell people about your blog - be proud of it! Blog is something that is created by you! You have no reason to be ashamed!

If you would like to create a fashion blog, that means you're into fashion (or at least you should be). I don't know how about you, but if I accidentally visit a fashion blog and I can see that the creator doesn't know that much about fashion in general, I'll stop being interested.
Of course you don't need to know the exact date when Karl Lagerfeld was born... but on the other hand, it's nice if you know that he's the head designer and the creative director of Chanel and Fendi.

And last but not least - be yourself. Don't be a copy of someone.

Well, these would be the things that I think are important and people tend to forget about them.

I hope this post inspired you, enjoy your weekend.

Hello, cupcakes.
Today I want to share with you my first step-by-step nail tutorial! It's super easy but girly and elegant at the same time!

This nail art requires a base color of your choice, black nail polish (or a striper), nail tattoos of your choice, a wet cotton pad and of course - a top coat.

First of all, I painted my nails with 3 coats of Rimmel nail polish in "New Romantic".
Then, for the stripes, make sure to create three dots, so you know where your stripe starts and where it end.
Prepare your nail tattoos and gently press one of them on to your nail. Then cover it with a wet cotton pad and wait a few seconds. Then remove it, and also carefully remove the paper from the tattoo you just used.
You'll be left with a tattoo on the skin around your nails, so make sure to get rid of that with a nail polish remover.
Now just apply a generous amount of your favorite top coat aaaand you're done!

How easy was that?!

I hope you liked this little step-by-step post!
If you decide to recreate this look, make sure to send it to me!

Take care.

Floral Dream

Happy Friday, everyone!
My balcony says hi to you, again! I bet you hate that place even more than I do, haha!

Well, you guys always request more and more outfit posts, which makes me super happy! You seem to like my style and it's great that you find it inspiring!
Today I want to share with you another girly outfit.

I went for a skater skirt and I paired it with this cute floral crop top and my litas look-a-likes. I also added my Céline look-a-like purse (this is how I wore this outfit to school) but you can also add a smaller bag or a clutch.

When it comes to jewelry, I went with my big vintage rings and Vogue necklace.

Well, that would be it, I hope it inspires you!
Enjoy your weekend - I will spend it with tons of papers for my finals!

April Favorites

Hey there, ladies!
It's that time of the month again, when I'm about to share with you the things I've been loving and using through out April.

I know I'm kinda late with this post, that's because I though I'm not gonna do it. But then I realised that I really want to show you the items I'm currently obsessed with!

I'll start off with a fashion item - disco pants! Oh my, you have no idea how I love these!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm still a skirt girl, but these pants are so stylish and comfy! I wear them almost all the time, mainly with crop tops and heels (of course). I'm definitely getting more of these in any color!

Another moment of silence... this palette is a perfection! If you're not familiar with this item, it's the Naked Basics palette by Urban Decay. It's great for daily soft smokey eye look! The colors are super pigmented and long lasting... what else could we ask for?

I feel like I'm an eyeshadow freak right now, haha! I purchased these two buddies just because they were so cute! But I'm super glad that I did purchase them, since they are really pigmented and, believe me or not, they also smell nice! The darker one is in the shade "Last night a cookie saved my life" and the lighter one is in the shade "So hot, donut!" (I hope I'm right), they are both from Essence.

Another goodie from Essence - a lipstick in the shade "Barely There". Just look at that color, this is the perfect nude lipstick for me! Yes, it's a medium toned nude and it sucks that it's not a matte finish. It doesn't feel dry, but it's not moisturizing either.

Meet my new favorite fragrance for spring - Summer Shine by Heidi Klum. It's the most perfect feminine scent ever!
It smells really fresh and also spicy! And the packaging is beautiful!

Dainty necklaces have been my obsession since the beginning of the spring time. I love them! They have that vintage feeling and are so freaking cute! And plus - they go with anything.

Last but not least - a snack favorite by Mister Choc! If you're a fan of Kinder Bueno snacks, you'll also love these! They taste almost the same, but let me tell you - these are way more delish!

Oh, I almost forgot, I also need to share with you my favorite song of the month! I have two songs to show you, actually.
One of them is Sirens by Cher Lloyd and the other one is Problem by Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azaela. Make sure to check them out!

Love ya!

Anklebiters

Hello everybodyyyyyy! :)
I hope you're having a great day! I felt like shooting an OOTD post but my bro bitch wasn't in a mood to go out, so we had to shoot inside... or on my balcony.

As always - the sun made that weird effect on the photos (whatever), so I really hope you don't mind.

As you can tell, I'm wearing some disco pants (say WHAAAT?) after the longest time & a crop top with some cute polka dots!

I added some nuckle rings and a dainty necklace as well.

Take care and don't forget - you're awesome!

Your Questions Answered

English translation will be available ASAP.
