Dramatic New Years Eve Makeup Look in 4 Easy Steps!

Hello lovelies! As I promised - I'm here with a super dramatic makeup for New Years Eve! You gotta finish this year by looking fab and glamorous!

This look is super simple, and I'll show you how to achieve it in 4 easy steps!

Make sure to start off with an eyeshadow base so your shadows will survive all of the New Year hugging and kissing.
Then go on with a shimmery gold/brown shadow and apply it on your lid. This time we're not going for an ordinary smokey eye, so definitely create that V-shape in your outer corner. I used Snakebite from Urban Decay's NAKED 2.

Now the more interesting part - add a black/navy blue eyeshadow to that V-part.  At first add just a little bit, then keep adding until it's dramatic enough. I used Top Know from MAC and Blackout from NAKED 2.

Add some black color right below your lower lashline and smoke it out. You can also soften the entire look by using a blending brush.

Line your eye if you want (I just used a black eyeshadow), add some mascara and you can also add some glitter. And that's it :)

I really hope you enjoyed this look and liked it. I wish you all the best in 2014!!!

Today I'm showing you the things I got. Please note, that I'm not trying to show off. This post was requested.
And also - stay tuned for a super dramatic New Years Eve makeup tutorial :)

VLOGpost: A Day with ME! Good Morning, Christmas Shopping, Decorating the Tree, Present Wrapping etc

Hello there! Awww, it's all happening tomorrow! I cannot believe it. I totally remember the moment when I was unpacking the present I got and I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow, yay!

Today I have a special post for you. I have tons of pictures that I've been taking since this morning. It's kind of a vlog-post, since you get to see what I've been doing through out the day. I hope you enjoy it.

Last Minute Christmas Makeup Look

24th December is almost here (who's as excited as I am?) and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to wear. I need to pick something festive, haha. I'm also thinking a lot about my festive makeup look I'll be wearing.

If you're not that kind of a person, today I have for you a really quick yet festive makeup look.

As a base, I used a MAC eyeshadow in the shade Satin. I put it all over my lid and then added a light shimmery eyeshadow from Rimmel's Brixton Brown palette for that effect.

(I used the lightest shade)

Then I defined (or cut) my crease. This step doesn't have to be perfect since we're going to blend the color away. I used a dramatic purple color from Rimmel's English Rose palette.

(I used the darkest color)

Here I blended the color away. I took my time with this. If you think it's not dramatic enough, just add some more color, you can add even some black eyeshadow to make it even more dramatic. I added Blackout from Urbay Decay's NAKED 2

Line your eyes, apply you're favorite mascara, highlight the areas that need to be highlighted and you're done! For the liner I used a liquid eyeliner from S-HE, for the mascara I used Rimmel's Scandaleyes and I highlighted the areas with Urban Decay's Foxy from the NAKED2 palette.

Now my most favorite part - red lips! I used Rimmel's Kate Moss Matt lipstick in 107.

And you're done! :)

My face makeup:

Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation
Catrice's High-Reflecting Concealer
MAC Sheer Pressed Powder
ELF Bronzer

I hope you like the look!

Christmas Beauty Haul

Happy weekend lovelies! I've been doing a little shopping lately & today I'm showing you my purchases.
I definitely recommend everything you're about to see.

I also hope you like these pictures - they are taken with my new DSLR camera.

First of all, I went crazy with dark shades - again. The most favorite of mine is definitely the one from Rimmel in the shade 107. It's the perfect matte lipstick for winter.
The first one - in the shade 750 Coffee Shimmer is more of a shimmery dark nude and the Essence one in 03 Dare to Wear is a deep red color.

This Labello lipbalm was a present from a friend of mine, I absolutely love it! It smells really good and is also moisturizing! It's not available in Slovakia yet, though.
Another goodie - a lip liner by Catrice, that goes great with all of my dark lipsticks and looks nice on your lips.

Now on to nail polishes - the first one is from Catrice as well, in the shade Heavy Metallilac and the other one is by Miss Sporty in 450. Both are really pigmented, so you're good to go with only one layer.

When it comes to face products, I've been loving these two to the moon and back! The Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation was a purchase for my prom night. I wanted a long-lasting and good-looking base, and this was it!
And the High-Reflecting Concealer from Catrice was a sale purchase, but I love it. It just brightens up your whole face!

This eyeshadow was also a present for Christmas from a friend of mine. The shimmery beige color looks great on your lid and I've been using the darkest and the lightest brown for the perfect smokey look. The palette is in the shade Brixton Brown.

And last but not least - two yummy scents. The first one is Beyonce's Midnight Heat (I'm almost running out of it already). This smells just amazing - kinda spicy but still sweet!
And the other one is Katy Perry's Killer Queen. I'm still waiting to fall in love with this one, but I quite like it, haha!

Make sure to let me know if you want a review on any of these goodies, or anything else.

Peter Pan & Lace

Hey there after a really long time! Today I have an outfit post for you, guys. I really hope you'll like it, since it was literally freezing outside and I was doing some stupid poses without my coat on!

This time you're able to see me in a whole new way. You already know the skirt I'm wearing, I just paired it with Peter Pan collar lace top.

And again - excuse my weird face and poses, haha!

See you soon,

My Ultimate Christmas Wishlist! (2013)

Hello! There are only 16 days left till Christmas so I was thinking a lot about the goodies I would love to get!  Today I'm showing you my top 5 things I'm dying to get!
Please note, that I'm thankful for everything I get, no matter what it is.

The first thing I want is a camera by Canon. I'm getting this camera this week since I'm having my graduation prom on Friday, I'm getting this as a present. This is also my GP/Christmas present. I'm probably getting a camera from the Rebel series, in case you were wondering.

Moving on to the beauty level (wouldn't miss that), I would love to get this MAC lipstick. The famous Ruby Woo is a must have for me, it's the most perfect deep red lipstick I've ever seen.

Now on to the fashion side, I hope I'll finally get the Litas look-a-likes boots! I've been wanting them for a while, they are absolutely perfect and go great with anything!

This is not really a wish anymore, since I've already received this Alexander McQueen style clutch for my GP. I absolutely fell in love with the design. It's edgy but feminine at the same time, yay!

And last but not least - I'd love to get as many Peter Pan collar blouses as I can! You know I'm obsessed with these, so it is kind of a must have :)

Make sure to let me know what are your wishes, they might even come true (I hope they will!).
Have an amazing week, see you soon!

The Sweather Weather TAG!

Hey everyone! Today I'm doing the Sweather Weather Tag! I know I haven't been active and stuff, but I really have a lot going on right now. My graduation prom is right around the corner and I still need to get some things!

Anyways, this tag was quite requested, so here it is. I kinda changed the question, I hope you don't mind.

Favorite candle scent?
- I love all the candles that make me feel warm and cozy! Especially with cute packaging!

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?
- If you follow my blog or my Instagram you probably know that I'm a coffee addicted girl! During this time of the year, when Christmas is coming up I tend to change up my regular cup for more of a festive one.

Hats or scarves?
- I really like both! They can spice up your outfit.

Most worn jumper?
- Probably my Ralph Lauren one, but most of the time I wear button ups or blouses (everything with Peter Pan collar, haha).

Favorite fall nail polish?
- That would definitely be Rapid Ruby by Rimmel! I think that this color is perfect for the fall time! Looks great on everyone.

Skinny jeans or leggings?
- You know that I hate wearing jeans. On the other hand, I quite like jeggings and leggins, but most of the time I wear skirts or winter dresses.

Boots or Uggs?
- And again - I hate Uggs! No offence, they might be comfy and fashionable, but they look terrible, in my opinion. Especially those fake ones, oh my... If I had to choose, I would say boots but 99% of the time I wear heels or wedges.

Winged eyeliner or dark lips?
-Both! This is actually my go-to combo!

Do you switch up your makeup routine for this season?
- I definitely do. I wear dark lips almost all the time and I always go for a winged eyeliner with thick looking lashes.

What is the fall weather like where you live?
-It was snowing today, which I was really happy about. Right now it's sunny but really cold and windy.

I hope you liked this tag. In case you would also like to do this, I tag you!
xoxo, R
