Review: L'Oreal Skin 3in1 Purifying Perfection Micellar Solution

Hello lovelies! It's been a week, huh? But weekend's finally here and we can enjoy it as much as we can!

Today I'm coming with a review of L'Oreal Micellar Solution. 

What exactly is a micellar water? Micellar water is a light, yet effective cleansing and makeup removal. It quickly removes your makeup and it's also chemical-free.

- hold over lashes, lids and lips and sweep away

My Opinion:

This product works pretty good! It swipes away my makeup, and cleans my skin. 

However, unfortunately I purchased the version for dry skin (my skin is oily/combo)! 

I also did some research and I found out, that many people don't really like this product! They say it's good, but nothing special. 

I had to use 5 cotton pads to remove my face makeup. The 6th one was finally clean. 

Then I use 1 cotton pad for each eye. I usually hold it there for a few seconds and then I swipe it off. Of course, I'm left with some mascara under my eye - then I fold the same cotton round over and remove it.

It doesn't irritate my eyes, which is amazing. However, I've heard it doesn't remove waterproof mascara. I can't tell you, whether it's true or not, since I don't use a waterproof mascara. I don't use this cleanser for my lips. 

I must say, that my skin feels softer! But - when I wake up, my skin is quite oily, especially on my T-zone. 

Before applying my makeup, I clean my face with this and then I apply my makeup. During the day I need to do only one touch up, since my skin it's oily that much.

In the past (before purchasing this product), I have used "L'Oreal's Gentle Makeup Remover", which was for oily/acne skin. I used only one bottle, since that remover often burned my skin.

Down/Up sides?

+ doesn't contain alcohol

+ your skin feels fresh and clean

+ as you can tell, I purchased the version for dry skin but I don't really mind, since it's good for my oily skin as well

+ inexpensive 

+ also great for eyes and lips 

- doesn't remove waterproof mascara

- you need to be careful when you're pouring it onto your cotton pad, since the hole on the bottle is quite big and you can also over pour your pad which means you're wasting your product

- although it removes (almost) your all of your makeup, make sure to double cleanse your face using your normal cleanser

Well...?

I definitely recommend trying out this product! It might not be the best, but it's worth trying out, since it's really inexpensive and the product is "new" on the market.

January Favorites!

Happy weekend, lovelies! I'm probably early, but I decided to share with you my January Favorites!

I've been loving only a few things, but they are totally worth it. If you've already tried out any of them (or you just want to), let me know!

Two must-haves of mine! I've been using these goodies almost every single day. I'm so glad that I got this foundation by Rimmel! I must say that it's the best one I've tried so far. 

The lipstick is also from Rimmel (in the shade 107). This deep red looks great on your lips, if you keep the rest of your makeup soft.

Then we have a perfume here - this one is by Kenzo (also make sure to check out their clothing pieces). I got this perfume a while ago, but I left it in one of my purses and I forgot about it. Then I found it (and I'm glad I did, I've been looking everywhere), since it smells delicious!

The next goodie is a face primer/base from L'Oreal. This is the best drugstore primer, I promise you! If you can get your hands on it, definitely buy it!

My mom got me this mascara a while ago, but I wasn't really using it, until now. I must say it makes your lashes look dramatic and full, which is great!  

However, I really want to buy the Miss Manga mascara from L'Oreal, I think that one looks even better!

Last but not least - a fashion piece I've been loving!

This necklace is actually a DIY project of mine. I think it's super vintage and cute! Do you guys like it? I hope you do :)

Hello darlings & happy Tuesday! 

This time I'm here with an outfit post - from my balcony, again, haha! Sorry about that. 

This time I went for a simple dress (yes, that black and white piece is a dress, but I rolled it up, so it looks like a top. and I paired it with a skater skirt (I'm not obsessed at all...) and my favorite killer boots. 

I'm about to get a new lens for my camera, so I'm really excited! I hope the pictures will get that nice touch :)

I was also wearing my little DIY piece - a necklace with a bow and a bird on it - so vintage!

Blogging Tips&Tricks

Hello there! This post is kinda special, so I hope it inspires you, since this post was requested! 

Today I want to tell you something about blogging & photography. Please note, that I'm not a professional, this is just my opinion and you don't need to share it, you can have your own.

I tend to visit a bunch of blogs daily. I love reading them and I really like when a blog has a nice design. But then it comes to photos. Sometimes a hate this part. Some bloggers use their phones to take pictures for their blog. Don't do that. This is the worst thing you can do. Also, don't think that you need the best DSLR camera on the market. That is absolutely not true! If you know how to take pictures, you're good-to-go with any digital camera! 

When I started blogging, I used my 18mpx video camera to take pictures. Then, a while ago, I finally got my Canon Rebel T3 DSLR Camera. 

This is really important - in case you just don't know how to take pictures (you don't need to be a professional, though), whether you have a high quality camera or not, the pics won't look good. Before you want to buy any expensive camera, do a research and make sure that you know how to work with it. 

Stay away from:

- photos downloaded from Google (this is boring, especially the stock photos)

- photos taken with your phone

- taking photos towards light 

Don't use flash as long as you don't have to. Try taking pictures during the day and use natural light. Also, find a nice background. 

In case you don't have a DSLR camera or your camera doesn't do that blurry effect in the background, use a photo editor instead. Make sure it looks natural, though. 

Try different angles. It can look really good, especially when taking a picture of a bigger product (shampoo). The final picture looks a lot different and better. Feel free to experiment.

This is how you shouldn't take a picture - the main products is out of focus and there's way too much space between the camera & the product. 

Also, there's a long distance between the product and the background, which doesn't always look good.

Here you can see the difference between using a flash and using a studio light. 

I prefer using a studio light since it looks a lot natural.

The flash tends to change the original colors. I don't always use the studio light! I only use it when I take pictures during the night or the weather is foggy and it's dark outside.

Stay away from out-of-focus pictures! I always feel like I'm drunk when I see out-of-focus pictures. 

Almost all cameras have a macro option, so use that.

Make sure to try taking more pictures as well, and choose the best one.

 My favorite part - editing the picture! 

When it comes to editing, it doesn't mean that you're a bad photographer and you have to edit your pictures if you want them to look good. That's not true. Even the best photographers edit their pics. 

I love playing around with pictures and I use many many softwares. 

The most used is probably Photoshop. I have been using this software for 5 years now. This is more of a professional software - in case you just want to crop your photo, lighten it or add a filter, try something easier to use. 

When taking pictures of swatches, stay away from filters. People want to see the non-edited version of that. 

However, when it comes to filters and stuff, I like using the vintage ones. I adore vintage photos! 

You don't need to agree with me, these are just my tips and opinions. The main point is to have fun and experiment a lot!!!

Vintage Love

Howdie! I'm here with the first outfit post of this year. This look is super vintage - I went for a skirt (this one actually has pockets!), Peter Pan blouse and I also had to wear my lovely killers. 

I absolutely like how the sun was shining and it made that nice effect on the left!

Best of 2013... beauty, fashion, songs, movies, random!

Welcome to 2014! 

2013 is finally gone and I really hope that this year is going to be much better! 

During 2013 I fell in love with many beauty goodies! Many of them were featured on my blog a few times, so you probably know them already, but I'm going to show you my most favorite essentials anyways!

Beauty:

The most favorite beauty product of mine has to be this MAC lipstick Viva Glam III)! At first when I got this I wasn't really excited about it since I wasn't wearing dark lipsticks back then. And since I love playing around with makeup, I remember that I was trying to create a whatever makeup look and I also used this lipstick... well, and I've been using it all the time since then.

Another lip products that's worth it. I've been using this everyday since I got it. I'm on a hunt for a Dr. Rescue one!

Well known goodie - MAC's Top Knot. This one is great, if you want to spice up your everyday makeup look by adding a little bit of a drama.

Ladies, the most favorite scent of mine - Prada's Tendre Edition. Pretty spicy and feminine... and yes, I'm bad at describing scents.

Fashion:

When it comes to rings, I've been loving big and vintage looking rings! Although, this one was really close to my little heart, haha!

This is the most beautiful clutch I've EVER seen! Although I got it for Christmas (and yes, I forgot to include it to my post, sorry), this beauty has to be here!

I've always wanted a super edgy clutch, and this is it. You can wear it on your shoulder or you can carry it in your hand, so sassy!

The best movie I've watched gotta be Now is Good. I watched this nearly a week ago, but it caught my heart! It's such a beautiful movie yet really touching! Definitely worth seeing it.

Next movie I really liked but I would never watch it again - Spring Breakers. 

Many people say this movie is stupid, but you need to actually understand the point. And what's the point? Friendship.

This movie also needs to be here - The Hunger Games & Catching Fire! I personally liked the first movie a little bit more, but I'm a huuuge HG fan now!

Random:

The most favorite app of mine has to be Instagram. I know it's kinda boring now, so I picked two more apps: the official Lookbook and WeHeartIt app! These are great if you want to get inspired, or in my case - quickly find a great outfit idea, haha.

Since 2013 has been full of changes, including the change of my style, I got to know many amazing fashion bloggers. 

Kavita from SheWearsFashion, Wendy from WendysLookbook, Anni from FashionHippieLoves, Leah from LipstickCatwalk and my absolute favorite - Luanna from le-happy are my TOP Bloggers of 2013. 

I'm glad, that I created this blog since I got to know all of you! This blog also changed me a lot, I feel like I finally found myself and became a little bit more serious.
